Scan Protocols
Tele3D will provide you with the scan parameters for the 3D protocols that lead to excellent 3D images. These scan parameters are a key ingredient for acquiring high quality data. Tele3D will provide you with electronic and printed copies of the scan parameters.
Scan protocols can have dramatic impact on image reconstruction, as shown in the following cardiac example. The image on the left is based on a scan acquired using the recommended scan protocols.
However, scan protocols can have a more subtle impact as shown in the following images. The image on the left was acquired based on a 1.25mm slice thickness, while the image on the right was acquired with a 2.5mm slice thickness. Using the right scan protocol can make significant differences in whether or not subtle pathology can be detected.
